Advanced Camera Workshop 1
-Need to say look away eyes down before turning on a studio light because they are so bright
- top left hand corner on the monitor is where the fps sign is
-fps means frames per second
-shutter is measured in degrees, 180 degrees makes the film look natural, when degrees is lowered it looks more sharp for example like at 75 degrees, this sort of setting is good to use when filming action scenes or dance shots
-shutter angle is different to frames per second
-the shutter angle thats good to use if you want to make everything look balanced is 180 degrees
- each different prime lense has a specific job
- using a zoomed out lense illustrates the world best as we see it
- its easy to get in all of the dancers if using a zoom out lense
- higher the number the closer the zoom
- 85 is a very good lense to use for closeups
Audience Profiling
The audience my group and I have decided to aim our music video at is age 18-21 year olds.
This is because the song and concept we are supporting covers a more darker and disturbing field of topics.
The genre of song is indie rock which includes more violent music that wouldn't be appropriate for younger people which is why we've chosen to aim it more towards 18-21 year olds.
We also made this decision because we thought 18-21 year olds would find the lyrics of our song more relatable.

Feedback from treatment
We had to present our treatments to our teachers showing the concept and ideas we had come up with for our music videos. This was the feedback we received from our teachers:
Hey Hey;
- It is hard to make a 70s themed club, we need to put our focus towards the people in the club and what they are wearing.
- There are a lot of 70s aspects and a lot to make up
- The 70s bedroom was approved and they though it was a good idea, the club if used needs to be dressed up like a night out.
- It may be hard to cast the lead singer as he sounds a lot older then the people we have to hand.
- In order to film this correctly we would need it to have a touch of comedy through the 1970s, but while also being serious, glitter band, and sweet.
- The song was a good choice and it had a pub rock band
- If 70s club was used the choice of costume and casting would be key
- The idea of using slow motion was good
I know you know
- It will be difficult to have lots of cubicles perhaps three at most.
- If used the drummer using pencils as drum sticks would only last tops 5 seconds.
- The main singer would have to be performing when singing in the office.
- When all playing the room would have to have blue lights in it.
- The office concept might be a bit expensive to do.
- A good idea would be to have the lead singer in a cubicle loosing his mind so that he breaks through the cubicle walls into the performance room.
- A drone would need to be used for certain shots.
- It is a very good idea however we don’t have the right facilities to create the image planned.
- A good idea to have would be to have the workers in stalls with hospital drips.
- We must make the office scene more metaphorical.

Songs and early feedback from song choice
The feedback I received for my first song entitled 'Hey Hey' by Giuda was that;
- it's suitable for a band
- it has a retro rock vibe
- when casting it would be best to use a slightly older looking boy since the singers in the song sound older than the people we have to hand but since the song is slightly playful using young faces could work
- there is a clear motif of being old school with an upbeat feel
- the conventions and key things expected would be rebel playful boys with a cheeky feel
- it has 1.7k views in youtube which would make I acceptable
The feedback I was given about my second song entitled 'allergy season by Racheal Jenkins was that;
- it was suitable for an artist
- the genre was indie pop alternative
- it was very easy to cast
- the motif for it was very straightforward and it was an easy song to work on
- the things expected from the conventions was very pretty girly vibe
- its attitude would have a very hippy vibe
- it has less than 10k streams on Spotify and therefore its acceptable
